Reagan is twenty-eight months old! The months seem to be flying by and Reagan is definitely keeping us busy! This last month has been pretty nice out so Reagan has been able to take full advantage of being outdoors!

Reagan LOVES water! It doesn’t matter if it’s from the sink, hose, or puddles, Reagan loves playing in the water! She is definitely our little water baby and I can only hope that this transfers over to her enjoying the pool this summer!

Reagan LOVES “mud” (aka dirt). It doesn’t matter if the dirt is dry or actual mud, Reagan loves playing in it! This also transfers over to playing in the sand. Reagan really enjoys playing in the sand and it can keep her busy for quite some time!

Reagan LOVES nature and playing outdoors. Picking flowers (dandelions), playing with frogs, examining a birds nest and the eggs, if it has to do with being outside and nature, Reagan is loving it!

Reagan LOVES books. We have been reading more and more books this month and Reagan has really gotten into reading before naps and bedtime. We normally have to go through the same few books again and again and again… Her favorites have been The Egg-cellent Mama Hen (picture below), Duck and Goose find a Pumpkin, Baby’s First Christmas (no idea why, but Reagan loves the “baby” book), If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, and the Going to Bed Book.

Reagan is an amazing little girl who is so funny, opinionated, and busy! She definitely keeps life interesting and I couldn’t imagine how bored we’d be without her! Can’t wait to see what next month brings!

Friday after work we ran some errands around town including Menard’s where Reagan thought the kayak they had for sale was pretty cool! Too bad we don’t have anywhere to use it!

When we got home I was busy putting groceries away and didn’t realize until it was too late that Reagan was practicing her artistic abilities on our kitchen trash can!!!

Wednesday after work we went out to water the grass and berry bushes.

Let’s go water stuff!!

While we were trying to get the berry bushes watered Reagan decided she wanted to help hold the hose. Yet, her idea of helping wasn’t to water the bushes, but rather the “mud.” The following video shows Reagan not only watering the mud (very efficiently by the way), but also telling us “Me job, mud” and “Water” (Translation: her job is to make mud out of water).

The whole thing was too cute, especially her falling into the mud (yes, she got stripped before we brought her in the house for a bath) and telling us over and over that this was her job!

We have been really lucky to have an amazing baby sitter that Reagan has gone to since she was 4 weeks old! Not only is a warm family environment, but Reagan has had a chance to form friendships with other little girls her age!

This morning Reagan’s baby sitter sent me the following picture of Reagan and her friends enjoying their morning snack of gold fish!

I thought this was just too cute and I love that our baby sitter sends up pictures and updates like this every once in a while!

Tuesday afternoon (after I got off work) we ended up at Dairy Queen enjoying some ice cream. And, once again, Reagan wanted Mommy’s ice cream more than her own!!

When we got home the weather was perfect and Reagan was looking extra cute in her spring dress, so I got a few pictures of her by the front porch.
