Reagan Kay is thirty months (or 2.5 years) old today!!!

Happy 2.5 years old birthday!

Reagan is becoming quite the big girl and is talking in complete sentences and picks up new words with no problem and uses them correctly.

Why? Why? Why? Why? Reagan’s been doing this for a while (since at least 26 months), but this month the why’s have happened more and more. It seems like everything involves a why these days! And every response turns into another why! We’ve actually started asking her – why do YOU think? Her responses have been pretty cute!

First, second, third. Now & later. Today & tomorrow – Reagan is understanding these terms and what they mean more and more and even using them herself. First cookies and then diaper change!

Starting to dress herself. Reagan isn’t doing this a lot, but here and there. If anything it’s more trying to get out of her clothes than in them!

Reagan has an amazing memory. Just the other day she was talking to me about “Feed fish bread at Windmont with Grandma & Grandpa.” I wasn’t exactly sure what she was talking about, but I asked my Mom about it and she said while she and Dad were watching Reagan when we were in Kewanee (beginning of June) they went to Windmont Park and fed the fish bread – exactly what Reagan remembered and had told me!

Reagan has really been enjoying the Elmo iPad game. She sits with Daddy and they’ll play together on it. The focus of the game is learning your letters.

Something else Reagan has really been enjoying is the Clifford sticker book I got her for the trip to Utah. She didn’t use it that much on the trip to Utah, but since then she’s really enjoyed looking at the different pages and putting the stickers on the book.

Reagan’s favorite foods are carrots and mommy milk… At least this is what she told a lady at the grocery store! My Mom and Reagan were at the grocery store and Reagan had a bag of carrots she was carrying around. A lady asked Reagan if carrots were her favorite food and Reagan said carrots and mommy milk!  LOL… too funny!!

Overall Reagan is a busy and funny little girl that is growing up WAY too fast! Can’t wait to see what the next six months bring!

Thursday after work we headed to Liz and Steve’s to help get things set-up for their big rummage sale! We had a lot of our things in the sale from when we cleaned out the basement and there was a lot to do to get things ready for Friday morning!

Reagan ran around having fun looking at everything while we were busy sorting and putting things out and after all that exercise and some pizza for dinner, she pretty much crashed.

Yep, she totally crashed on a thin blanket on top of concrete! She was so dirty, but looked so sweet passed out like that! I guess toddlers really can sleep anywhere!!

Reagan loves to mix stuff… doesn’t matter what, but it definitely has to include eggs, flour, water, and sometimes sprinkles!

It’s all ready!

The only bad thing about coming home from vacation (other than the laundry) was that my car had a flat tire. We’d been fighting tire issues on my car and James finally said enough was enough and we headed to SAMS on Sunday to get all new tires put on my car.

James had already done his research online and new exactly what we wanted. Yet, Reagan thought she better best them out a little bit before we made our decision!
