On New Years eve we got up and made a cherry delight and then went to James’ Dad and Alice’s to visit and celebrate Christmas James’ side of the family.
James’ sister and brother were there so there was lots of fun and laughing!

In December I read 25 books!
December Books:
Check out the other books I’ve read so far this year:
We started our day at Raccoon Mountain Caverns where we started with the cave tour.
The cave was pretty neat, but Reagan really wasn’t that into at first. By the end she had warmed up and was all of the place though!
After doing the cave tour we did some panning for stones and Reagan was a lot more into that!
Afterwards we got back on the road and other than stopping for lunch, didn’t stop again until Metropolis, IL.
We had split it from the Feinstins, but ended up meeting up with them in Salem, IL at the Dairy Queen. We weren’t far from home by that point and it was nice to eat and hang out with them a little bit more before vacation was officially over.
We stopped for a few groceries right before we got home and still pulled in the drive way around 10pm! Our mileage for the trip was 3675.6 miles!!
Happy Holidays! I know the blog is a *little* behind, but we’ve been pretty busy this year with a very energetic two year old, full-time (plus) jobs, 11.5 acres of yard, a few trips here and there. You know, just the usual for an active family!
No fears though, we’ve got a ton of pictures from our many adventures and it’s on Kona’s to-do list to get the blog caught up as quickly as possible!
So until then, Happy Holidays from the Joneses!
Today Reagan was running around with the little wooden stop sign from her train set. If we said something to her she didn’t like she held it up and told us STOP!
Wow… she’s not even three! We are definitely going to have our hands full with Reagan as she gets older!
