Last day of Pre-K

Friday was Reagan’s last day of Pre-K at Argenta-Oreana. When Reagan started preschool two years ago she told her teachers that she was going to “train them like she trained her parents.” Thankfully she had an amazing and experienced team that knew how to work with her and not break her spirit. Reagan has come so far, loves school, and is excited for kindergarten in the fall.

For her last day they planned on going to the park, but because of the rain they ended up in the classroom having fun and doing all sorts of cool things!

Like singing and dancing!

And playing in the different centers!

It was a fun time and I enjoyed getting to see Reagan in her school environment! We also got to give Reagan’s teacher, Mrs. Ravenscraft her thank you gift for being such an amazing teacher!

It has been a great two years and we’re excited to see what new adventures Reagan has in Kindergarten!!

Barely nine months old and this is how I found Kennedy as I was doing the dishes tonight! We’re really going to need to watch this one!

9 month check-up

Kennedy had her nine  month check-up today and overall she’s doing great!

Kennedy was meeting all milestones, but one of her ears was a little gummy, which will require a follow-up visit.

Her stats for this check-up:

  • Height – 28.25 inches
  • Weight – 19 lbs 6 oz

Overall she a good time with big sister!

Eagles Nest Climbing

Reagan has come a long way since last year when we first got the Eagles Nest for her and is getting up and climbing on it all by herself!

Kennedy also wanted to try climbing, but is a little too small this year!

Daddy also decided to show off his talents and climbed up to the top! Go Daddy!

And before going inside, Reagan had to try out the pool. The water is still pretty cold and James doesn’t have it cleaned out yet, but that didn’t stop Reagan from dipping her legs in!

Hungry hungry Kennedy

Before 10am Kennedy had already had scrambled eggs, blueberries, pork chop, broccoli, a strawberry, two orange slices, and was gnawing on this carrot!!

She was watching me clean out the fridge and kept pointing at stuff she wanted!! Baby led weaning for the win!

Fun in a box

I’ve been using the box the swing set came in to keep Kennedy contained while we do things outside. Unfortunately I underestimated her reach and she managed to grab some dirt out of a planter and got it all over herself!

Kennedy LOVES to swing and Reagan LOVES to swing her! What a perfect pair!

Volunteer thank you

Wednesday afternoon I went to Reagan’s class for the volunteer thank you. I didn’t volunteer much this year, but I did go in a few times to help out and went on a couple field trips (as did James). The thank you consisted of some wonderful singing.

You are my Sunshine

Mister Sunshine

Then the kids got us our cookies and punch and we got to watch a PowerPoint video of the kids and what they remembered the most from the volunteers. Overall it was a great time and I was glad I could attend!

New swingset

James put up the girls new swing set this evening!

It was a lot of fun to see Reagan swinging and playing! It won’t be too much longer and Kennedy will be playing on it as well!
